DeadFeds is a hardcore (HXC) punk band from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The band was formed in December 2023, when bassist Cliff Byrton and drummer Scoot Koresh met guitarist Buzz during a Polyphonic Spree show at the Granada Theater in Dallas. At the time, Cliff and Scoot were backup musicians in a tepid Richland Hills pop rock band; Buzz had recently relocated from El Paso, where he jammed with an illustrious elevator orchestra; yet all three guys wanted to shred. And boy, did they ever. Within a few months, they had enough material for an EP, which they recorded and released in February 2025. The self-titled EP channels their favorites: D.R.I, Power Trip, Minor Threat, and maybe even a dash of S Club 7. Shortly after the EP's release, Cliff caught a severe case of corporate 9-to-6 burnout, taking a leave of absence in Houston in order to recover. Before he left, he introduced Buzz and Scoot to his talented and outrageously chill bassist friend, also conveniently named Cliff. Hardcore is very, very fun, and it can uplift, inspire, and motivate. DeadFeds would be honored to shred with you.
