Remisses were a short-lived indie rock band in 2012 who met while re-taking driver's ed for the second (and, in Jay's case, third) time. None of them passed, but instead of taking the class again they formed a band. The sessions comprising this album were recorded with producer Stroker Ace. Gator McClusky was supposed to release them on his label, White Lightning Records, but Gator being Gator never launched label, and the songs sat on his laptop.
